Pie in the sky: check to see if that user has already used foo_bar or foobar before and use that? I'll have to see what I think when it comes up in use. Unfortunately the development of the delicious extension isn't open. I've posted over at their yahoo groups with the patch though, so hopefully we can figure out a way to include it anyway ...
